Welcome to Gentler Tales

People have told stories since they first developed language. Stories entertain. They also show rather than tell, suggest rather than teach. They are a way of exploring some of life’s questions through the experiences of other people.
The stories and novellas on this website reflect several genres. Some have a surreal or whimsical element. Even if some seem improbable they may not, perhaps, be impossible in the great scheme of things. But that is for you to decide.
